Lapis Lounge is more than a bistro—it’s a creative hub, a community anchor, and a space where hospitality meets heart. With a distinctive aesthetic, and warm, inviting space, themed events like Fizz Friday, intimate private hire venue, and a growing reputation for warmth and originality, we’re on a journey to build something truly special in Sandiacre, alongside our intimate, quirky refreshment kiosk in victoria Park, Ilkeston.  Nestled amongst the lush greenery of the park, the kiosk is a place to unwind, picnic, take a break from dog walking, cycling or pop in on your daily commute.  Its a space ripe for growth and ready to thrive as we approach the Autumn.

☕ Role Overview

We’re looking for a seasoned hospitality or customer centric professional, with creativity, confidence, and chemistry—someone who can work in close partnership with the Owner, Jazz to help shape the next chapter of Lapis Lounge. This is a hands-on role with room to grow, ideal for someone who brings experience, initiative, and a collaborative spirit to the table.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service with warmth and professionalism

• Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks, alcoholic beverages, and light bites, boards, with flair.

• Support and co-lead themed events, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.

• Aid in social media marketing.

• Maintain a clean, stylish, and welcoming environment

• Process orders and payments efficiently and accurately

• Contribute ideas to enhance the brand, customer experience, and operations

• Work closely with the Owner to develop new offerings and elevate the Lapis Lounge identity

• Assist with training, mentoring, and team development as needed.​
