Front of House Hospitality Champion
& Bistro all-rounder Extraordinaire 

Lapis Lounge, a trailblazer in the hospitality industry, is searching for multiple personable and organized Front of House Hospitality Champions to join our vibrant team. At Lapis Lounge, we pride ourselves on delivering unparalleled hospitality. As a Front of House Assistant, you’ll be the warm, welcoming face that greets our guests, setting the tone for their entire experience. A typical day at Lapis Lounge:

  • Welcome guests warmly, ensuring every interaction leaves a memorable impression.

  • Manage walk-ins, reservations, phone calls, and in-person inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.

  • Prepare and serve a range of beverages—hot, cold, and alcoholic—as well as breakfast items, light snacks, and boards, with attention to presentation and detail.

  • Oversee bookings to ensure a seamless and well-organized scheduling process.

  • Address guest inquiries and provide comprehensive details about our food and beverages, specials, events, and private hire options.

  • Process orders and payments accurately while maintaining efficiency in both bar and back-of-house operations.

  • Engage in promotions and upselling, enhancing the guest experience by showcasing special offers.

  • Maintain the Lapis Lounge environment, ensuring it remains spotless, tidy, and inviting at all times.

  • Collaborate closely with the owner/manager and team members to guarantee smooth service delivery.

  • Complete all relevant training, including Barista training, Level 2 Food Hygiene, Allergen training, and hospitality first aid.

What we are looking for:

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a customer-centric approach.

  • A genuine enthusiasm for people, hospitality, and creating outstanding customer experiences.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks with ease.

  • A knack for building rapport, fostering trust, and exuding credibility.

  • Exceptional time management, able to prioritise workload and stay calm under pressure during peak periods.

  • Flexibility to adapt to varied working hours, including weekends and bank holidays (hours of work range from 8.30am -11pm, although flexibility is fostered)

  • Able to work across two venues in neighbouring communities.

​

​Desirable experience but not essential:

  • Proven experience in a customer service role, ideally within the hospitality industry.

  • ​Level 2 Food Hygiene preferred.​

​
